摘要： This critical narrative review draws on bell hooks' engaged pedagogy to examine the pedagogies deployed by PE teachers and PETE educators in response to COVID-19. Full-text, empirical studies between 2020 and 2022 were accessed through Academic Search Complete, Education Database (ProQuest), Education Research Complete (EBSCO), ERIC (EBSCO), Scopus, and SPORTDiscus. In total, 86 articles were considered for full-text review, with 38 articles moving to data extraction after having met the study's inclusion criteria. We used inductive and deductive methods of data analysis. Findings are reported and discussed according to (a) the inductive identification of pedagogies deployed by PE teachers and PETE educators during COVID-19; and (b) the deductive analysis of the literature using bell hooks' engaged pedagogy as a theoretical lens. This review determined that whilst the COVID-19 pandemic may have signalled an opportunity to advance an engaged pedagogical approach in PE and PETE, there was scant evidence of teachers or researchers choosing this path. Instead, innovation, criticality, creativity, mutuality, engagement and meaningful learning was suspended in favour of day-to-day survival. Most papers focused on remote learning enablers rather than engaged pedagogy; that is, they focused on the communication technologies required to connect to online spaces and then to teach within them. We outline directions and critical challenges for PE teachers and PETE educators to develop equitable, inclusive, and empathetic classroom spaces which seek to create learning that is transformative, dynamic and holistic.

摘要： Introduction In recent times, emotional loneliness has been increasing among young people, despite their intense social interaction via virtual platforms and in real life. Their social-emotional development seems to be interrupted due to high levels of psychological stress, and it probably results in significant academic problems. This study aimed to investigate the relationships between loneliness, perceived stress, and academic burnout among medical students after the COVID-19 *** Datasets were collected from 630 medical students (51.7% women, with the mean age of 21.31 and the standard deviation of 2.14) by using scales for emotional and social loneliness, psychological stress, and academic burnout in January 2023. After verifying normality, a t-test and ANOVA were used to compare groups. Pearson's correlation coefficient and path analyses were also utilized for data *** In terms of loneliness, there were significant differences between genders in preclinical and clinical term groups, and stress levels were also significantly different between the two term groups. Men were found to be more emotionally lonely than women. No significant difference was observed for academic burnout across gender and term groups. Perceived stress played a mediator role between emotional loneliness and academic burnout, while social loneliness had almost no effect on either stress or academic burnout. Stress increased significantly as educational levels *** According to the results, emotional loneliness and stress increase academic burnout. To alleviate burnout, emotional loneliness and stress should be decreased through various psychosocial interventions, such as group therapies. Addressing the psychological issues and improving the psychological resilience of medical students can also help.

摘要： Background Respiratory tract infections are readily transmitted in care homes. Airborne transmission of pathogens causing respiratory tract illness is largely unmitigated. Portable high-efficiency-particulate-air (HEPA) filtration units capture microbial particles from the air, but it is unclear whether this is sufficient to reduce infections in care home residents. The Air Filtration to prevent symptomatic winter Respiratory Infections (including COVID-19) in care homes (AFRI-c) randomized controlled trial will determine whether using HEPA filtration units reduces respiratory infection episodes in care home *** AFRI-c is a cluster randomized controlled trial that will be delivered in residential care homes for older people in England. Ninety-one care homes will be randomised to take part for one winter period. The intervention care homes will receive HEPA filtration units for use in communal areas and private bedrooms. Normal infection control measures will continue in all care homes. Anonymised daily data on symptoms will be collected for up to 30 residents. Ten to 12 of these residents will be invited to consent to a primary care medical notes review and (in intervention homes) to having an air filter switched on in their private room. The primary outcome will be number of symptomatic winter respiratory infection episodes. Secondary outcomes include specific clinical measures of infection, number of falls / near falls, number of laboratory confirmed infections, hospitalisations, staff sickness and cost-effectiveness. 摘要： Background Parkinson's disease (PD) is a serious neurodegenerative disease that brings great stress to the physical and mental health of patients. At the same time, long-term treatment will also bring great economic losses and social burden to the family and society, especially after COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this study is to analyze the current status of stress perception and anxiety in patients with PD and explore the influencing factors after the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods This study used the convenient sampling method to select the research objects of patients with PD who were outpatients or inpatients in a general public hospital in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and the survey time was from February 2023 to March 2023. The measurements included the General information questionnaire, The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and The Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS). SPSS 21.0 software was used for data statistical analysis. Result 394 out of 420 patients with PD completed the questionnaire. The stress perception score of PD was (16.41 +/- 6.435) and the anxiety score was (54.77 +/- 10.477). The stress perception scores of patients with PD were significantly different in gender, age, educational, occupation, nature of costs, time of sleep, quality of sleep, duration of disease, way of medical treatment and anxiety level (p < 0.05). Among them, age, duration of disease, public expenses, online remote therapy and anxiety level were the main influencing factors of stress perception in patients with PD (p < 0.05). Besides, there were significant differences in gender, educational, nature of costs, time of sleep, quality of sleep and duration of disease in anxiety among patients with PD (p < 0.05). Conclusion After the COVID-19 pandemic, the level of stress perception and anxiety in patients with PD is high, and the influencing factors are complex.

摘要： Introduction: College students experience high levels of depression, anxiety, and stress during the academic year as they juggle the competing demands of young adulthood and their studies. The COVID-19 pandemic heightened this experience. Healthful diets and sleep patterns are associated with improved physical and mental well-being. Purpose: Therefore, the goal of this study was to identify if there was a relationship between changes in sleep and diet during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A group of college students was surveyed online using Qualtrics software during the first two months of lockdown restrictions at a large, midwestern university in the United States. Results: More participants reported no changes in diet and increased hours of sleep than reported declines or improvements in diet, or reductions or retained sleep patterns. Participants who maintained their diet were likely to maintain their current sleep pattern. Conclusion: College students demonstrated resilience in healthful behaviors during the first two months of COVID-19 lockdown.

摘要： The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the learning process from face-to-face to distance learning. Students get accustomed to online learning mode. As Covid-19 cases decline, the current learning must be adjusted with appropriate media to be in line with the digital era, one of which is video tutorials that can also promote students’ autonomous learning. This study aims at developing video tutorial media and determining its feasibility. The research method employs Thiagarajan Research and Development consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. (4D). The instrument used construct validity with expert judgment with valid results. The instrument’s reliability with Cronbach’s Alpha obtained 0.954, which can be categorised as reliable. Video development in the Define stage includes analysing the suitability of the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) to the curriculum demands. The design stage covers a) pre-production, while b) production begins with forming a team, compiling storyboards, recruting video talents, determining locations, taking video scene, and setting sounds. The development stage deals with video editing and sound mixing. The disseminate stage determines the feasibility of the developed media. The video format can be played with computers or smartphones. The material and media experts had declared that the developed video was appropriate to be used as a learning medium. The results of the limited trial for the material aspect showed that half of the respondents mentioned that it was very feasible (50%), and the rest was “feasible” (30%) and “infeasible” (20%), respectively. For the media display, most of the respondents stated that it was “very feasible” (70%), and the remaining was “feasible” (20%), and infeasible (10%). Meanwhile, in the field trials, 67% of respondents said it was “very feasible”, 26% was “feasible”, and 7% was “infeasible”, respectively, for the material aspect. 摘要： PurposeThis study aims to assess the sources of COVID-19 information respondents relied for COVID-19 pandemic information access and use, forms of misinformation and their influence on COVID-19 vaccine uptake hesitancy among frontline workers. Design/methodology/approachA Google Form developed questionnaire, distributed conveniently through link shared through WhatsApp groups was used to collect data from frontline workers from Dar es Salaam and Dodoma cities. Analysis was done using a binary regression analysis. FindingsIt was found that it was not the source that mattered for one to be hesitancy or not on COVID-19 vaccination, but the extent to which the information the source channels was manipulated or false. Research limitations/implicationsRelying only Google Form questionnaire sent through a link on WhatsApp may have compromised the quality of information gathered and the quality of conclusion. Another study may have conducted through researcher administered questionnaire to a bigger sample to increase conclusion reliability and validity. Practical implicationsThis study urges that to increase the COVID-19 vaccine uptake, it is important to ensure that the quality of information from the revealed dependable sources is checked to avoid possible consequential disquiet resulting from misinformation. Originality/valueAs the world is striving toward combating the COVID-19 or at least lessening its effects, this paper is of its own kind, using the theory of informative fictions to guide the assessment of the sources of information and the extent to which they influence misinformation on COVID-19 vaccine uptake hesitancy.

摘要： This study assesses college students' intent to intervene when presented with a hypothetical peer exhibiting depression in one of three scenarios: depression, sadness, and depression in quarantine during COVID-19. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), variations in constructs associated with intent were examined by context (external triggers vs. no trigger), knowledge of, and experience with depression. One hundred and sixteen health sciences students read three vignettes and completed an enhanced TPB questionnaire. Intent to intervene was greater when the vignette target was experiencing depression with external stressors. Prior experience with depression and knowing someone with depression were associated with greater intent to connect the hypothetical peer to counseling resources regardless of vignette scenario. Due to increased mental health concerns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts promoting awareness of mental illness in peers may benefit from increasing education about stressors and causes of depression that may not be observable.

摘要： COVID-19 spread across the nation with Black Americans experiencing twice of the prevalence of deaths than White Americans. Black American college students are facing a unique set of biopsychosocial costs including less retention and poorer mental health. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine how Historically Black College or University (HBCU) students contextualize COVID-19. Interviews were conducted with 19 participants and lasted 40-60 minutes. They discussed topics including: their COVID-19 knowledge, precautionary measures, and barriers and promoters of school success were covered. Data were coded through semi-open coding and discussed among the research team. Responses were summarized by eight themes: emotional responses, colorblind rhetoric, lack of healthcare, essential work, distrust for the medical field, barriers to precautions like supply shortages and environmental factors, and poor baseline health. These findings may be used to develop interventions that moderate the impact of COVID-19 and future pandemics on mental health.
